ZENMED Skincare – Does it work?

Healthy Skin

I have a very rigorous skincare regimen, and it’s changed a few times since the last time I published my skincare routine last year. I’m always on the hunt for great products that can help turn back the signs of aging, improve the fine lines and wrinkles that have developed, and brighten my dull skin. I’m 42 now, and it’s crazy how fast and often your skin changes once you reach your late 30’s, not to mention when you hit your 40’s.  I was very lucky to be contacted by ZENMED and asked if I would be willing to try out some of their products and provide my honest review. After researching them online, I jumped at the opportunity!  They asked questions about my individual skincare needs and concerns and customized a package of items that they felt would help the most.

ZENMED is a company that has been in business for over 15 years (started in 1999) and produces doctor-formulated holistic skincare, merging functioning natural ingredients with proven medicinal actives. Everything they make is doctor-formulated and is 100% paraben and sulfate-free. They specialize in a variety of skin problems such as acne, pore issues, anti-aging, rosacea, and more. They even have makeup products designed for people with rosacea. While I don’t have rosacea, many of you know that I have SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, so I often experience red, flushed areas on my cheeks.  My primary concern will always be anti-aging. For some reason, I keep getting older and developing more fine lines. Their products are reasonably priced, especially compared to many of the brands you currently see on Sephora. If you visit their website zenmed.com, you’ll notice they even have discount codes for 15% off available right now.

I received the products today and will be officially kicking off my test this evening. I always test new skincare products for approximately 4 weeks before providing a review, so be sure to return and see how the products worked for me. When I received the package, the company immediately stood out to me. Their packaging isn’t so fancy and luxurious, where you know that 1/2 of the product’s costs are going to packaging alone. I admire that greatly. Each product was wrapped in recyclable paper, with a little sticker that has the company name and website address. It also says “No Cosmetic Boxes. Please Recycle.”  I LOVE it when a company actually cares about the environment. Frankly, I’m tired of all the boxes and packages that I have to throw away; they’re such a waste!

I will be testing the following products:

  • B5 Hyaluronic Plumping Serum
  • Omegaceramide+ Recovery Moisturizer
  • L-Absorbic Booster
  • Gentle Cleansing Cream (a soap-free cleanser containing natural seed oil & antioxidant fortified. Helps control Redness and Flushing)
  • Skin Protecting Lotion with SPF 30
  • AVT Cream (a nourishing emulsion of Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins A, B5, E and anti-aging peptide Matrxiyl. Contains Argan, Jojoba and Borage Oil)

They couldn’t have put together a better selection of products for me to test and provide my honest feedback for. The timing is perfect. I’m thrilled that their products are sulfate-free so I don’t have to worry about any foaming cleansers. Everyone always thinks that foaming cleanswers = clean skin, but it doesn’t. It strips your skin and can cause problems.

As always, I’ll take before and after photos to show results over time.

Have you tried any products from ZENMED? Let me know in the comments below or head over to my Instagram page and let’s chat! I’d love to hear your experiences. Don’t forget to check back next month and see my full review on the products.

Thank you to ZENMED for the opportunity to try your products. While I am not sponsored and never paid for any reviews, I did receive these products complimentary in return for my honest review. I will always be honest, no matter what the circumstances are. I rarely accept products complimentary from any company, but I believe in full disclosure and honesty.  Check out my other reviews, and you’ll see just how blatantly honest I am.  haha
